Portfolio Below is a sample of some previous sites I've worked on. Some of these sites I developed from the ground-up; others were existing websites that I was contracted to carry out work on. The links below will open in a new window.
The Wood Floor Store (Derby, UK) [ Visit Site ]
A website designed to showcase the products of The Wood Floor Store in Derby, UK. I was contracted to re-design this website from the ground-up.
Kernow Host [ Visit Site ]
A web hosting and domain registration company based in Cornwall, UK. Integrated with PayPal and Google Checkout for secure payment processing.
Falmouth LETS (‘Local Exchange’ Software) [ Visit Site ]
LETS is a system which facilitates the exchange of goods & services in the community, without the need for money. I was contracted to work ‘behind the scenes’ on the existing ‘Local Exchange’ software that this site was running. Specifically, I built in a wealth of new interactive features and also took care of some nuisance bugs.
Support & Men [ Visit Site ]
A website for a Falmouth-based support group which focuses on men’s issues. I built this site from the ground-up using my own Content Management software.
LoveSnap (Dating Website) [ Visit Site ]
A dating/social networking website for UK singles. I built this one from the ground-up, which involved a lot of complex custom coding of social networking features.
D P Macdonald (Cornish Artist) [ Visit Site ]
A website showcasing the various works of Cornish Artist, Duncan Macdonald. I built this using my own Content Management software and custom-coded the Gallery feature that is the main focal point of the site.
Proburn Karaoke [ Visit Site ]
An online shop that enables users to compile and then purchase their own custom karaoke discs. The website was originally built by someone else but I am contracted to carry out maintenance and troubleshooting tasks and ultimately ensure the smooth running of the site.
Smack the Pixie! (Online Game) [ Visit Site ]
A playable parody of the television show, Deal Or No Deal. I wrote this game as a whim and out of boredom, but it has actually grown to become quite popular with 1000+ members/players at last count.
WWE Unsanctioned [ Visit Site ]
An interactive social-networking site for fans of WWE. I first built this site back in 2003 and it has since grown to become fairly popular and (despite that I no longer have time to write content for it) it continues to achieve consistently high search engine rankings.
Real Life Tools
[ Visit Site ]
A website built for Falmouth-based life coach, Lorely Lloyd. This was a collaborative project between myself and Rob Follett Computer Services.
